Long-serving BGCTC Staff Honored with National Service to Youth Awards

BGCTC Staff Presented 5-, 10- and 15-year Service to Youth Awards

Nine longtime BGCTC staff and Youth Development Professionals were recognized at the BGCTC annual summer staff gathering with 2021 National Service to Youth Awards. These awards are presented to Club staff, board members or other volunteers who have attained five or more years of devoted full- or part-time service to the Boys & Girls Club Movement.

The National Service to Youth Award bears the inscription "For long and devoted service to boys and girls." The award is presented with an antique copper medal on a red grosgrain neck ribbon with a personalized certificate in a blue leatherette folder and a lapel pin with gemstones is for each five-year increment.

Twenty five percent of BGCTC staff members are BGCTC Club alumniWe count their desire to come back and join the movement in a professional capacity as a testament to the work we do for youth,” said Shellica Trevino, BGCTC’s Chief Operations Officer.
