First-Ever Yelm Movie Extravaganza Held Jan 24
Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County (BGCTC) held its first-ever Yelm Movie Extravaganza benefitting the Yelm Branch of BGCTC on January 24, 2022. The event not only served as an important fundraiser for the Yelm Club but was also an opportunity for Club supporters to celebrate the successes since the Club's opening in the Fall of 2019.
Community members showed up in a BIG way raising more than $75,000 to support local youth that benefit from the programs and services offered at the Club. Guests were wined and dined thanks to Uptown Lounge before the first-class theater experience at Yelm Cinemas.
Proceeds from the evening support after-school programs offered at the Yelm Boys & Girls Club focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and leadership.
